A number of court cases have been concluded at the Estevan Courthouse on Monday.

Angela Helen Lukye, pleaded guilty to driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08. and was handed an intermittent sentence of 34 days and a two-year driving prohibition. She will serve that sentence at the Saskatchewan Impaired Driving Treatment Centre at Prince Albert. She also has to pay a $100 victim surcharge.

Also sentenced was Chad Laviolette, of Estevan who had earlier pleaded guilty to possession of property obtained by crime with a value over $5,000 after a 1,000 pounds of stainless steel pipe was stolen from a local business. He received a six-month conditional sentence order and six months probation and will have to pay restitution of twenty-four hundred dollars.
