Warm Welcome has been running for a full month now, and as the snow has officially hit the Energy City the Warm Welcome program is in full swing and running smoothly.

Christa Jorgensen the new Kitchen Manager shares, "Things have gone really well, I thought the numbers would be down, but serving 30 to 35 people every night."

They meet every Tuesday and Jorgensen adds, "We're at St. Giles Anglican Church, and we serve a meal from 5:30 to 6:30 pm."

As for the types of meals they are serving up they have had quite a few dishes that have already been on the menu, "Well, I've done meatball subs, salads, we've had fish donated to us which is a real treat for everyone. There was chicken and mashed potatoes, those types of foods."

If you would like a hot meal on a cold night, "Most definitely everyone is welcome to come on down and have a warm meal, chat with everybody and enjoy the Warm Welcome kitchen."

They are still looking for that second location to come along and be their home for Thursday nights.
