Chief Adrian Bachorik and the Bienfait Fire Department donated fire hoses to Kin Park.

“We donated 2 hoses to the kinsmen club for the purpose of flooding there rink.”

He mentions how he heard about the need, “Actually the Vice President Preston, I play hockey with him and he was wondering about hoses. And also another member of our fire department, he has a friend that is on the kinsmen too and he was wondering too.”

“We had a couple old hoses sitting around so we donated to them.” The fire departments in this area are so very generous.

Kin Park is able to use the hoses for life Adrian explains, “They were not functioning well for us as a Fire Department, that’s no good for us. As they could no longer withstand the pressure we were putting them under. So they were deemed out of service. And for what they use them for, just for low pressure flooding of the ice it will last forever.”
