The Estevan Public Library wasn't content with just the one event to occupy their time over the weekend. They went out and put on a second for good measure.

Kicking things off is the book sale, which begins on Thursday, April 19 at the library at 9:00 in the morning and goes right until the library closes at 8. It will roll on through Friday and Saturday as well, beginning at 9:30 in the morning

On top of that, they're helping put on a puppet show at Hillcrest School on Friday night at 4:30. Very Merry Munsch, put on by the Sask Literacy Network, is expected to be a popular one as it celebrates the work of Robert Munsch.

Christine Batke of the public library stopped by today to give us the lowdown on the events.

Thanks again, Christine, and enjoy what will be a busy weekend.
