A driver has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act following a Thursday-evening collision in south-central Estevan.

EPS Cst. Don Dechief said a northbound pickup truck pulled out from a stop sign and collided with a westbound pickup, resulting in minor injuries to both drivers.

"Both vehicles were towed due to the damages that were sustained," said Dechief. "The driver of the northbound truck was charged under the Traffic Safety Act for proceeding from a stop sign before safe to do so."

EMS treated both drivers for their injuries at the scene.
