A 39-year-old Estevan man is facing charges under the Wildlife Act after he was reported walking with a firearm in the Pleasantdale area Wednesday morning.

The Estevan Police Service said they were called about the man around 6:35 a.m. Wednesday, and found him at his residence.

Police determined he had shot the firearm in the city, "dispatching two small game animals."

Police seized the firearm and the animals. Conservation officers assisted with the investigation.
