The Estevan Police Service are turning to the public for assistance again following another break-and-enter.

EPS were called around 11:30 Monday night to a residence in the 800 block of Edward Street.

Sgt. Tyler McMillen said it was broken into between 7:30 and 11:30 at night.

"Police are looking for anyone who saw anything suspicious, people that maybe have cameras in the [800 block of Edward Street].

Police reported in a crime watch advisory that several electronic items were among the stolen property.

"Officers have gathered some evidence from the scene and are looking for witnesses and surveillance footage from the area to help identify the individual(s) responsible for this crime," said the statement.

The property owner was away at the time.

You can contact the EPS or Crime Stoppers if you have any information.

Last week, police reported a number of calls related to break-and-enters, thefts, and damage to property in the Hillside area.

There was also a call last week about a suspicious male going through a yard in the Pleasantdale area

And over the weekend the EPS issued a crime watch advisory regarding items being stolen from cars and garages in the Spruce Drive, Willow Bay, and Maple Bay areas.

They also located items over the weekend that appeared to be stashed in yards.

"We didn't know if people were still missing things and just haven't reported it, or haven't realized that they're missing," said McMillen. "So if they have, please call and we may have your item."

McMillen said there has not been an indication that the incidents are connected.
