A pair of donations was the first of the money being sent out that was received from the Estevan Legion's truck raffle last year.

That was drawn on December 31st, and the donations given out today were the first from that.

STARS received a check for $4,000, while SMILE Services received $2,000.

The representatives for both organizations said they were thankful to be receiving the money.
