Diversity was celebrated in Estevan on Saturday evening, as women from all cultures gathered for an evening of dancing, art and food.

"Our whole office got together and decided that it would be nice to have a night for women of different cultures to come together and kind of bond, meet each other and share about their lives," explained Stephanie Davis, the Program Coordinator with Southeast Newcomer Services.

Those taking part were able to engage in dancing, a tattooist and a hair braider, as well as enjoy wine and cheese and do some painting.

"I'm excited that we have a lot of people participating, including several dressing up. It's nice to see the different cultures and what they wear, and to share that with everyone."

"Estevan has a variety of cultural women," concluded Davis.
