The Estevan Police Service were called Tuesday to a residence for a reported assault that led to two victims being significantly injured and needing medical attention.

Police identified four suspects and arrested them without incident. They are Billie Bertram (35 years old), Nathan Mangaard (35), Bradley Williams (30), and Jason Coates (49).

The EPS laid the following charges:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Forcible confinement
  • Uttering death threats
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Police obtained search warrants for several residences to locate property related to the incident. The warrants were executed in the Pleasantdale and Eastend subdivisions of Estevan on Tuesday.

Police say one of the suspects was charged and released from custody on conditions related to the offences. The remaining three appeared in court Wednesday and were remanded in custody for the purpose of show-cause hearings. Police did not specify the dates for those hearings.
