The summer months are slowly slipping towards yet another fall in southeast Saskatchewan, as evidenced by slightly decreasing temperatures in the evenings and early mornings.

However, the warm weather is still exercising it's grip on the region, and the next few days will be no exception.

According to Regional Meteorologist Terri Laing, Friday could be a bit cooler with some rain showers, due to a trough of low pressure making it's way through the area.

"After that, we're looking for a rebound in temperatures as well as sunny conditions. It's looks like a pretty bright and hot weekend ahead of us."

In addition, she predicts that some gusty, Northwesterly winds could jump into the equation after the low system goes by.
