It was once again Overtime magic for the La Ronge Ice Wolves, as they defeated the Yorkton Terriers by a score of 4-3 in Game 3 last night to take a 2-1 series lead.

The Ice Wolves jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first period with Ben Findlay, Dan Conacher and Aaron DeCorby all scoring for the Ice Wolves in the opening 6 minutes of the game.

Former Bruins Colton McPherson and Liam Brennan each had an assist.

But the Terriers would come back with a goal from Blaine Tendler in the first, Rylan McDonell would then score in the second to cut the lead to 3-2.

Then in the third it was Troy Smukowich scoring for Yorkton and sending the game into overtime.

In OT it was Aaron Enns scoring 7 minutes into the extra frame giving the Ice Wolves a huge win and now a 2-1 series lead.

The Ice Wolves can take a commanding 3-1 series lead as they face the Terriers in Game 4 tonight in Yorkton opening faceoff is 7:30.
