The Toronto Blue Jays picked up the series yesterday afternoon in Texas with a 3-1 win.

The Jays scored all of their runs in a 9th inning rally, which got started by a Vernon Wells solo home run. The homer was Wells 4th on the season, and he also became the first Blue Jay to homer in the first 3 games of the season in team history.

Lyle Overbay would then get a triple and Edwin Encarnacion scored him with a sac. fly. New comer Mike McCoy would then add the third run by driving in Alex Gonzalez.

For the second straight game Jason Frasor picked up the save and Cassey Janssen picked up the win. Ricky Romero had a solid start going 7 innings and only gave up 1 run.
