A bit of good news for the province, as the number of new cases of COVID-19, fell today, being lower than recoveries and lowering the total number of active cases.

In Saskatchewan, there are 398 new cases, which when combined with 470 recovered cases lowered the number of active cases to 4,788.

There are eight more hospitalizations, raising that total to 289, and there are two new deaths.

The new seven-day average also lowered to 461.

In the South East COVID cases also fell, with 13 new cases and 48 recoveries making a current total of 282.

The South East Sub Zone 4 wasn't excluded either, with only seven new cases and 15 recoveries lowering the number of active cases from 89 to 81.
