Four local entities announced that they are all working together to develop an Educational Facility Master Plan for the City of Estevan.

A media release stated that the problem that prompted these conversations was the declining enrollment at Estevan Comprehensive School. Currently, the school is operating at 53% utilization.

In the release, Mayor Roy Ludwig said that once the discussions began it was apparent that all the partners had facility and operational needs within the city.

Local entities include the SE Cornerstone PSD, the Holy Family RCSSD, the City of Estevan, and the Estevan Police Service.

All the partners would like to invite the public to attend an information meeting hosted by the two school divisions on January 27th, 7:00 pm at Estevan Comprehensive School.
