Police arrest "unwanted guest" on warrants

An unwanted guest at an Estevan residence wound up with no choice on where she spent the rest of her Tuesday night.

The Estevan Police Service were called for the removal of an unwanted guest at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to Cst. Jeremy Taman.

"She's been staying there off and on for some time," Taman said. "In speaking with the subject of the complaint, it was found that she had current warrants out of the Estevan Police Service."

She was arrested and held in custody for a Wednesday court appearance.

Taman said the subject has had some fail-to-attend charges, along with break and enter and theft under $5,000.
