The Estevan Police Service announced over the weekend that two Estevan residents were charged on Thursday following an investigation by the Estevan Police Service (EPS) Drug Intelligence and Criminal Investigation Units.

Search warrants were executed at a residence in the Hillside neighbourhood and at a residence in the central part of the city, resulting in two residents being arrested.

Both people were charged with:

  • possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
  • trafficking methamphetamine
  • proceeds of crime not exceeding $5,000

The police said the investigation is continuing, so they are not releasing the names of the suspects yet.
