The RCMP provided an update at 10:12 p.m. saying the police operation on the 700 block of Spencer Street had concluded, and that charges were pending against the accused, who was in custody.

RCMP say there is no risk to the public, but they are asking people to avoid the Spencer Street area in Carnduff Wednesday evening.

An RCMP Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network notice issued at 6:15 p.m. said police are investigating an incident regarding suspicious person with a weapon in the 700 block of Spencer Street.

The notice said one person is in custody.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen a male in a black sweater, green shorts, and running shoes between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on their property to contact 310-RCMP.
