Highways in the Estevan area were closed at 7:34 p.m., according to the Highway Hotline, as blizzard conditions moved into southeast Saskatchewan.

Highways surrounding Weyburn closed beforehand, along with roads in the Regina, Moose Jaw, and Swift Current areas.

Zero visibility, drifting snow, and icy sections are among road conditions being listed on the province's Highway Hotline.

Winds gusting to 90 kph from the northwest are in the forecast for Monday night along with two to four centimetres of snow.
