The Southeast AAA U18 Twins fought hard this weekend as they took on two teams in doubleheaders.

Their first bout was against the Moose Jaw Canucks Saturday, a team that's given the Twins a challenge in the past.

The first game ended with a victory for the Twins, taking the game 13-3 with an impressive 5 runs in the second inning.

The second was a narrow loss, with the Canucks taking it 4-3 with two runs in the seventh inning sealing the game.

They then moved on to face the Saskatoon Cubs Sunday - while the Twins didn't have the luck of the first game, they still put up quite the fight.

The first game had the Cubs hold onto a victory as The Twins' 6 runs in the seventh inning were unable to overcome the deficit.

In the second game of the day, the roles were reversed, with the Cubs mounting a comeback in the seventh to secure three runs and end the game 6-5.

The twins have plenty of opportunities to get on a roll - they've got games Wednesday and Thursday, with games Saturday and Sunday to close out their regular season.
