Today, the 1000 block of Third Street is closed down. 

City EMO Coordinator Helen Fornwald said that the city thanks you for your patience.

"It is closed from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. to traffic from Souris Avenue to Eleventh Avenue due to police building construction."

Local traffic can still go through during the hours it will be closed.
