The founder of the now-defunct Canadian Nationalist Party was denied bail in last Friday's show-cause hearing in Saskatoon Provincial Court as he faces several charges, including impersonating a peace officer and criminal harassment.
Redvers native Travis Patron was arrested August 2 and initially charged with two counts of impersonating a peace officer, two counts of criminal harassment, and two counts of failing to comply with court-ordered conditions.
He allegedly accused a woman of abducting her child, and chased her into a Saskatoon hotel in one instance. And he allegedly posed as a police officer and offered to escort a woman across the University of Saskatchewan campus.

He was later charged with a third count of impersonating a peace officer.
A court official said the 32-year-old man was denied bail on secondary grounds (due to a likelihood the accused will re-offend or interferere with the administration of justice if released).
Patron was convicted in separate instances in 2022 for assaulting a pair of women in Regina and willfully promoting the hatred of Jews.
His matters are now moving to the Court of King's Bench for a pre-trial.
Patron ran in the 2019 Canadian general election, finishing last of six candidates in the Souris-Moose Mountain riding with 0.40 per cent of the votes.
