What goes into the making of curling ice?

In our latest DiscoverEstevan 1 v 1, Nolan Kowal chats with curling icemaker Jayson Braaten about the transformation from hockey ice to curling ice at Affinity Place during the Saskatchewan Provincial Curling Championships.

"We'll go out there and we have to take the zamboni out and get rid of all the marks they make doing that," said Braaten, who's been making curling ice for about 40 years. "We just try to flatten off the hockey ice as best as we can, because we don't have a very big timeframe to flood things up obviously."
