Members of the Estevan Sharks Water Polo Club continue to further their game and compete in the National Championship League.

Teams from across Saskatchewan and Manitoba will compete in 12 games over the next two months, in hopes to earn a spot at the western finals in Edmonton this coming May. Over the weekend in Regina, the Under 14 Prairie boys and girls went undefeated.

The Prairie boys swam away with a 4-0 record including wins of 19-4, 12-6, 12-8 and 7-4. The team consists of Cameron Gillingham, Lucas Dzeryk, Logan Dalziel, Ethan Elliott, Dierks Milford, Kristian Baniulis, Tristan Threinen, Nathan Threinen, Lyndon Sauder Joshua Heleta and Jace Carritt.

Also coming away with a perfect 4-0 record was the Prairie girls, who won 5-4, 17-2, 8-4 and 13-2. Suiting up for the girls team is Josie Andrist, Alex Andrist, Mikayla Hack, Maria Baniulis, Breanna Sinclair, Gabriella Jocelyn, Emily Tarnes and Katryna Heleta.

The Under 14 Girls Saskitas who consists of Sadie Smith Emily Sauder, Tayla Gervais, Lily Knoll and Jordyn Tarnes, went 0-3 with losses of 2-11, 2-17 and 2-13.

The next weekend of play in the National Championship League Prairie Division will be on Saturday, January 13th in Regina.
