The newest hockey team in the southeast is showing everyone else how it's done.

The Southeast female Midget AA Gold Wings are so far running a perfect season, a 4-0 record, according to Head Coach Al Ohrt.

"We're doing really well. Wednesday night's game (a 3-1 win over Regina) was the first time we've gotten scored on. Everybody's been playing well. It's a good group of girls, even though they're from Weyburn, Estevan, and all surrounding areas it seems like everybody's getting along really well. Probably the best I've ever seen a dressing room of girls, or boys, get along."

"Everybody's there for the right reasons. They want to be there, and it's awesome that way."

The Gold Wings play one more exhibition game on Sunday, against Parkland, before starting off the regular season in mid October.
