Fire crews were rung into action late Saturday evening as they headed just south of the Energy City to the entrance of Woodlawn Park

"Right around 8:30 PM Estevan Fire Rescue was called to a motor vehicle collision. It was a singe vehicle versus tree, just on the north side of the bridge on Highway 47 South, by Woodlawn Park," stated Fire Chief Dale Feser.

"Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that there was no injuries and no entrapment. The vehicle was isolated, and the crews turned the scene over to the RCMP services for further accident investigation."

While the Chief couldn't speak as to the cause of the incident, he was pleased that no injuries resulted from the collision.

Other than that, Feser said that it was a quiet weekend for the Fire Department, as Saturday night's call was the only one received.
