After years of pulling pipeline pigs and dealing with the typical mess that comes with it, Todd Duke and his brothers from Lampman came up with an invention called The Pig Pen, which aims to make handling the waste from pipeline pigs more manageable and safer for the environment.

The Invention was showed off at the Saskatchewan 2019 oil and gas show where many people got to see the invention unveiled, Duke says that the reception was overwhelmingly positive.

"It kinda came just from our experiences pulling pipeline pigs and having our own experiences with the spills that can happen with it, I've seen some operators who have been covered in head to toe with oil and fluid and we decided that there's gotta be a better way to do this." Said Duke

"we got it patented here now and we just showed it off at the 2019 Saskatchewan gas and oil show and it has been shown an interest, so now we're just in the follow up stages and trying to get our name out there, get the product out there and let people know that there is a product out there that can help with this situation."

With the invention being well received the next step is getting the product into the field.
