The Lampman family center received half of the proceedings from the Lampman libraries Ladies Nite profits and with that, they will be moving from the center into the Lampman public school

Treasurer Jesse Elmore on the benefits of moving the center

"Its a good direction for the kids so there not so nervous about starting in kindergarten and so that there more familiar with the school at an early age. If a child needs some earlier intervention maybe they'll see that and we will get help for the child early on, say if they need speech therapy maybe we can help and point the parent in the right direction."

"I think it will be easier for parents, for pick up and drop off and it'll be easier in the winter months so we don't have to worry about trying to get kids back and forth from our current location to the school everyone can just stay warm and at the school and you won't have to worry about walking anyone when its minus forty."

Elmore says well the first year of the family center had its ups and downs she thinks the move to the school will prove to be beneficial.
