A local celebrity is climbing his way to the top.

Chris Henderson, out of Estevan is busy making music. After winning Estevan Idol in 2004, Henderson went on to win the Big Country Talent show in Regina, and from there, he released his first single and has been entertaining audiences ever since.

Henderson explains that he will be taking the next step and heading to Nasville to record his debut album.

He made an appearance yesterday evening at the CJ1280 Block Party and will be performing at a Cabaret in Estevan this evening to raise funds for the trip to Nashville.
