A 27-year-old Gainsborough man made his first court appearance in Regina Provincial Court this morning after being charged in relation to a homicide near Oxbow.
Tyler Shaw appeared via telephone with his lawyer. He is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
The Crown prosecution opposed Shaw’s release, so he will remain in custody until his bail hearing.
The bail hearing has been set for May 9 at the Estevan Court of King’s Bench at 9:30 a.m.
Two men have been arrested as Carlyle RCMP are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a rural location in the RM of Moose Mountain. The identity of the woman has not been released, but her death is being ruled a homicide.
The second man arrested was taken into custody Thursday afternoon pending further investigation.
