Today's Town Salute is focused on the community of Manor.

The community lies on highway 13 between Carlyle and Redvers and is home to just over 300 people.

Ashley the Administrator of Manor, "We've been busy working on our water supply and quality, we've had to flush our main lines from our well to our water plant. And get that cleaned out, and then we've upgraded our ozone system in the water plant to get better quality of water."

"So now moving forward we have a few other projects planned, trying to get some road repair done and some work at our transfer station and lagoon. We are going to be busy with that for the remainder of the year."

Upcoming they have Manor Fun Daze with over 25 professional riders going to be putting on a great show for everyone who goes out this weekend.

"We have the rink, library, and the playground," continued Ashley.

"It's quiet and close to Carlyle so its smaller, and your getting the smaller town with a school here. And so it draws in the young families and were kind of a bedroom community for Carlyle also."

Its a great community where you can visit their local rink, library, and local parks. "We just planted over 200 trees around the community and at our Rodeo Grounds too."
